
The Story of Helen Moss
When I first discovered my cancer, I very naively felt that I could be just like Bruce Willis' character in 'Die Hard' and that I would fight this cancer off and be victorious. However, the treatment pulled me down and 'fighting' or that mind set drained my energy.

Education
After being a homemaker and having four children Helen realized a dream she never thought possible. Under President Lyndon Johnson the government started granting Government loans to students. At the age of 29 in 1966, Helen took advantage of this entitlement and started college at Kent State University and ended up with a scholarship graduating from the University of Akron with a Liberal Arts degree in English in 1970 summa cum laude and first in her graduating class. She subsequently taught English at the University of Akron and attended graduate and law school.

Carol A. Adrine is the Project Administration for the Institute for Research on Unlimited Love located at the School of Medicine, Case Western Reserve University, where she is responsible for the Institute's financial affairs.
Her previous position in the not-for-profit sector included managing the buildings and grounds of a century-old community music school in the Cleveland area.

She was already a leader in the ecumenical interfaith movement where she gave leadership for over 30 years.

A quiet, unassuming woman, besides being a director of Pre-Formed Line Products Company, founded by her father, Barbara has been the President of the Thomas F. Peterson Foundation since 1988. She has established the Barbara Peterson Ruhlman Chair in Orthopedics at University Hospitals. As a graduate of Wellesley College she has established a fund for Interdisciplinary Studies at Wellesley. She is also a Trustee of Laurel School, a private school for girls, where she graduated Class of 1950. She is dedicated to her friends, family, and community.
