
The Story of Helen Moss
When I first discovered my cancer, I very naively felt that I could be just like Bruce Willis' character in 'Die Hard' and that I would fight this cancer off and be victorious. However, the treatment pulled me down and 'fighting' or that mind set drained my energy.

Bettyann S. G. Helms is the past president of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID).
She graduated from Case Western Reserve University with a B.S. in interior design and architecture. Her firm of 40 years does corporate offices, executive homes, law firms, clubs, health care and hospitality. She specializes in Green, smart and accessible design.
She has been a community activist and volunteer. As a member of the Junior League, she founded an investment club, cookbook, future planning and the showhouse.
She is a former trustee of Vocational Guidance Services, The Cleveland, Golden Age Centers, Shaker Lakes Regional Nature Center etc., a Dame of the Soveriegn Order of St. John, Knights Hospitaler, the oldest charitable organization in the world.
Active at the Cleveland Musuem of Art, Bettyann likes to paint, play tennis and travel in her spare time. A Mother of two, Christina and Ben Stefanski: Married to Wade Farley Helms- between them, they have 11 grandchildren. Resides in Bratenahl. Her Mother, 95 years of age, is a breast cancer survivor. |
