Former founding trustee of the Helen Moss Breast Cancer Foundation, Dr. Nathan Berger, has been named a trustee of the Society for Integrative Oncology (SIO).

Nathan A. Berger, M.D. is the Hanna-Payne Professor of Experimental Medicine and Director of the Center for Science, Health and Society. He is Professor of Medicine, Biochemistry and Oncology at Case Western Reserve University, School of Medicine.

 The Annual Lectureship Grant from the Helen Moss Breast Cancer Foundation to the Case Western Reserve School of Medicine was held at the Cleveland City Club forum on October 30, 2009. The Speakers were Dr. Stephen Sagar, Persident of the SIO and Dr. Gary Deng of  Memorial Sloan-Kettering.

On November 12-13, 2009 the SIO will hold its Sixth Annual Conference at the New York Academy of Medicine. This year the Helen Moss Breast Cancer Research Foundation will be funding four Cleveland Area Medical Professional's trips to the Conference. These prefessionals are Dr. Amy LeJeune, Dietition, Rick Creger, Pharmacy, Dr. Lyla Blake, MD, and Nancy Tamburro, DSW, all of University Hospitals.
