The Story of Helen Moss

When I first discovered my cancer, I very naively felt that I could be just like Bruce Willis' character in 'Die Hard' and that I would fight this cancer off and be victorious. However, the treatment pulled me down and 'fighting' or that mind set drained my energy.

The Trustees created a new category for Trustees:  Trustees “Emeriti.” They then appointed two founding trustees who were instrumental in the success of the foundation:  Dr. Nathan Berger and Barbara Peterson Ruhlman.  Click here to see their biographies.

The Trustees recognized the importance of the work or the Society for Integrative Medicine (SIO) and their mutual focus and goals  by the fact that the foundation shares four trustees with the SIO:  Helen Moss, Dr. Nathan Berger, Dr. Barrie Cassileth, Dr. Stephen Sagar.
