The Story of Helen Moss

When I first discovered my cancer, I very naively felt that I could be just like Bruce Willis' character in 'Die Hard' and that I would fight this cancer off and be victorious. However, the treatment pulled me down and 'fighting' or that mind set drained my energy.

Join the SIO

At the Society of Integrative Oncology's 5th Annual General Meeting, SIO created a new position on its Board of Directors for a patient advocate and unanimously named Helen to fill that position. Helen’s son, Jim Moss, serves on the Foundation’s board and contributed a well-written, impassioned report on what he learned at the meeting.

Eighth Annual Event!

Thursday, December 4 at Breezy Bluff in Bratenahl

Come hear our grant recipients, who this year attended two international conferences in Shanghai and Atlanta that were sponsored by the Society for Integrative Oncology, speak about integrative oncology across the spectrum of cancer care. They will be introduced by the Dean of Case Western Reserve University Medical School, Dr. Pamela Bowes Davis, who headed the committee in choosing the grant recipients.

China Conference.

November 2008 - Announcement of the completion of the $100,000 grant

What:	Was the announcement of the completion of the $100,000 grant to Case Western Reserve Medical School for the annual lectureship grant in integrative oncology. Major underwriters were Ensign and Lana Cowell, Peter and Sue Osenar, Betty Ann Helms, Helen Moss, John Moss, Ted and Judy McMillan.
