
The Story of Helen Moss
When I first discovered my cancer, I very naively felt that I could be just like Bruce Willis' character in 'Die Hard' and that I would fight this cancer off and be victorious. However, the treatment pulled me down and 'fighting' or that mind set drained my energy.

Ohio Doctors to see Cancer Treatment |

The Foundation just awarded grants for four physicians to travel to China during the last week of April in 2008. These grants are sponsored by the Society of Ingrative Oncology and MD Anderson. Physicians from Cleveland Clinic, Case Western Reserve University, MetroHealth, and University Hospitals will attend the Shanghai International Symposium in April.
Doctors from four distinguished hospitals in Northeast will be introduced to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and its relationship to established Western cancer treatments. They are:

A trustee of the Helen Moss Breast Cancer Research Foundation, Dr. Barrie Cassileth, who holds the Laurance S. Rockefeller Chair of Integrative Medicine at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center (www.mskcc.org) in New York City, will be a featured speaker at the symposium. Dr. Hart and Dr. McKinley will also present to conference attendees.
This symposium will focus on traditional Chinese Medicine and its applications to Western medical practices in Oncology. Managing Trustee Helen Moss and Board Member Betty Ann Helms will also attend. |
