"Helen
Moss, Managing Trustee of The Helen Moss Breast Cancer Research
Foundation, has announced that Dr. Barrie Cassileth has accepted
the invitation to become a trustee of the Foundation.
Dr. Cassileth is Chief of Integrative Medicine and holder of
the Laurance Rockefeller Chair in Integrative Medicine at Memorial
Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York City and founder of
the Society for Integrative Oncology. The Integrative Medical
program at Memorial Sloan-Kettering is pioneering in the U.S.
The additional of Dr. Cassileth to the Board strengthens their
mission of integrating alternative medicine with main-stream
medicine. One of the goals of the Foundation is to establish
a program and a Chair in Integrative Medicine at Case Western
Reserve Medical School mirroring the Laurance Rockefeller Chair
at Memorial Sloan- Kettering. This program will focus on information,
resources and research and to the full and comprehensive care

November 7, 2004 5th Annual Tea Party
Annual event hosted by the Foundation. Keynote Speaker will
be Gary Deng, M.D., Ph.D. with the topic
"The Use of Herbs & Botanicals in Cancer Prevention,
Care & Integrative Medicine". The location is the University
Club of Myers University at 3813 Euclid Avenue in Cleveland, on
Sunday, Nov. 7 at 2 p.m.. The highly successful event was held
in the newly renovated ballroom and was sponsored by Myers University,
and is paid in part from a grant from the St. Luke's Foundation;
other sponsors include Emerald Health Systems; Endorsed by the
Woman's Community Foundation. Click here

The Foundation has received a grant from the Cleveland
Foundation for $5,000 to help sponsor the 5th Annual Tea Party
featuring Dr. Gary Deng of Memorial Sloane Kettering who will
speak on - "Herbs and Botanicals in Cancer Prevention and

foundation grant - $2,750 from the St.
